TABITHA ONG
“Our heartfelt drive in a spirit of charity”
A Cameroonian association founded in 2017, committed to charity for the most vulnerable: widows, young mothers, orphans, the sick, and children in disadvantaged areas.
WHO WE ARE
Our history and mission
Tabitha is an association founded in 2017. The name 'Tabitha' means 'the talent of very skilled benefactors', an etymology from the Bible — Tabitha of Orcas, the charitable one. It is from this origin that our motto is born: a heartfelt drive in a spirit of charity.
Tabitha supports all people suffering from poverty and famine in their professional and psychological development, so they can fully participate in our economy.
OUR CAUSES
Widows and widowers
Moral, material and psychological support for bereaved people in precarious situations.
Young mothers
Supporting teenage mothers towards autonomy and social reintegration.
Vulnerable families
Protection of young girls and families exposed to conflicts and danger zones.
Orphans
Support for children without parental support, schooling and psychological follow-up.
Sick (sickle cell)
Support for people with chronic diseases, particularly sickle cell disease.
Children's education
Access to education for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Tabitha also promotes socio-professional reintegration through small income-generating activities for beneficiaries.
